    it sounds like like american petrolium institute standard rating for lubricants. I couldn’t find a GP-12 listing so make sure that you have it correct. I couldn’t find a reference online very easily but your automotive parts store should have a guide to look it up. In most lubricant guides it will list the different standards in the first couple of pages.
